The non-partisan Alliance for Maine's Future and the AMF Maine Prosperity Political Action Committee (PAC) believe the Maine Legislature must support the private sector and the growth of a strong Maine economy if this and future generations are to prosper.
Our mission is to improve the economic opportunities for all Maine people by electing and supporting a bi-partisan majority of state legislators who support a strong private sector and an efficient and affordable public sector.
We provide thousands of Maine citizens fair and factual information about the impact of public policy on the Maine economy. We also help by holding legislators accountable for the bills they sponsor and co-sponsor and the votes they cast.
We are the only organization in Maine that advocates for the state's economy AND engages voters to take action.
We believe the Legislature should be
- delivering higher education that supports growing the private sector
- moving Maine toward the national average for tax burden
- supporting private sector investment in Maine to create and retain great jobs
- enabling a competitive health care market to lower costs toward the national average
- lowering electrical energy costs toward the national average to attract new jobs
